Trauma Healing Convening

Purpose:
Trauma knows no boundaries of nationality, gender, age, social class or race. We all live in a fallen world and groan inwardly from the painful consequences of the fall. The church is uniquely called to this mission field - it provides a theology for suffering, a community bound together in love, access to a God who is willing to hear our honest grief, and a Savior who knows what unjust suffering feels like.

During This Session We will explore: What are the needs for trauma care in New Mexico? Is there a role the Church can play to help people know how better to respond to trauma and find healing? How does the Biblical Trauma Healing model help create a path for healing? What could trauma healing look like in New Mexico?

Who Should Attend:
Church or organizational leaders interested in exploring a Bible-based response to the trauma of their people, as well as those wanting to enhance their existing outreach efforts by integrating a proven Bible-based approach to help heal wounds of the heart.

January 11 from 1:00 - 2:30 pm MT.
